PIP is currently required on every auto insurance policy in the state, with up to $10,000 of coverage for medical expenses, lost pay and death benefits for any insured, injured motorist regardless of who is at fault in an accident and $10,000 for Property Damage.

If you need an SR-22 you are required to carry Bodily Injury coverage with limits of $10,000 per person and $20,000 per accident for a maximum of 3 years.

On October 1, 2007 the Florida legislate enacted new rules and procedures for drivers with a DUI. The drivers will now be required to carry a form called an FR-44 with limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident, and $50,000 property damage and is required for a maximum of 3 years.

If you are convicted of driving without insurance in Florida, you will need an SR-22, with Bodily Injury coverage of $10,000 per person and $20,000 per accident. However this is different from the regular SR-22, this policy is non-cancelable and has to be paid in full and maintained for two years.
